Membership eligibility

• Alumni of Harvard, MIT, Yale and The Fletcher School at Tufts University
• Full-time Faculty of Harvard and MIT
• Undergraduate students of Harvard and MIT & their families 
• Graduate students of Harvard and MIT
• Residents and fellows at Harvard Affiliated Hospitals 
• Physicians with faculty appointments at Harvard Affiliated Hospitals 
• Children, grandchildren, parents and grandparents of current Harvard, MIT, Yale or Tufts Fletcher School of Diplomacy affiliated members

Membership Fees are determined according to the zip codes where an applicant lives and works as well as their age bracket. Current fee schedule available here.

Harvard University Class of 2024 is eligible to apply for a complimentary membership to the Harvard Club of Boston. We begin accepting applications for the complimentary membership program starting in April 2024. The complimentary membership for the graduating class runs through August 31, 2025. Learn details and next steps here. 

Commonwealth membership is available to applicants who are not eligible for full membership. We reserve 50 commonwealth membership spots per year for friends and family of current members who would not otherwise be eligible through the full membership pathway. Commonwealth program applicants are required to have a member sponsor.

• Host and Stay: Our historic Clubhouse has 25 overnight rooms available for you or your guests to stay in the heart of Boston's Back Bay.
• Preferred Rates: HCB members enjoy preferred rates and packages at Canyon Ranch, Equinox, Arthur Murray Dance Centers, Trademark Tours of Harvard and MIT campuses, and more! 
• Special Moments: Our private event spaces can accommodate two to 400 people. From workshops to galas, our members trust us with their most important events.
• Health and Wellness: Take a lesson with our Squash Professional and Former U.S.O.C Coach Sharon Bradey, get in a workout at the fitness center or take one of our virtual wellness classes. 
• Virtual Fitness: All members have access to virtual fitness classes including HIIT, Tabata, Upper & Lower Body Blasts, Core Strengthening, Yoga, Cardio dance and more. 
• Guest access: HCB is your club. Club members are able to bring guests to the clubhouse as often as they like as long as they are accompanied by you, the member. You are also able to sponsor family and friends to stay overnight or dine.
